You can do and use everything you find here on the home page absolutely free of charge.
This is probably a problem with your screen resolution setting. Try the following: 1. Click with your right mouse button on the desk top and select "screen resolution". 2. Now you can simply change your screen resolution setting to 1280 x 1024 by moving the control right to the top. 3. Click on "apply" and "OK" to confirm your alteration. If you can't change your screen resolution in this way, try your PC's "help" function. If this doesn't help either, contact us directly at email@example.com
There are two links at the end of each article. Click on "Comment on this article". If you have written a heading and text, you can see your comment in the preview before it is published. Please make sure that your comment is in the right column or we won't be able to publish it.
Due to the number of submissions we receive and which have to be checked carefully every day, we are unfortunately not able to publish all articles/comments on the same day they are sent. It is very important that we check the contents and so prevent anything "bad" from being published on our website.
At the end of each article you’ll find two links. Click on "Write your own article". After you wrote the headline and the text you can review your comment in the preview. Please make sure that your comment fits into the column, otherwise we won’t publish it.
Due to the huge amount of daily entries and our careful examination of all entries, we can’t publish all articles/comments the same day. The examination of the contents is very important for us, since only this way we can secure the website for “bad” entries.

Fashion Credits can be earned by hard work, activities or jobs (beginning from status “Beauty Queen”). Just click into columns on the site you normally don’t use that often. Variety can be a lot of fun and helps earning more credits or experience points.
Due to different activities you collect experience points and will be upgraded step by step in your status. So, just be surprised and most important – just have fun on top-model.biz.
You have several possibilities to protect yourself against bad entries, comments or news. In the chat are always moderators available who can help to solve your problem. Is there another user bugging you, you can block this user on his comp card so he can’t contact you again. You can also contact us directly, just click on the bottom of this page on the contact form.
Yes. There's a Friend Finder in Community & Message Board / Community / Friend Finder where you can make a specific search.
You have to log in first.
Just click on the user's comp card. You'll find the "become friends" link in the menu bar on the left. As soon as you click on the link, the user will receive a friend request by e-mail. If the user accepts your invitation, you are friends. You can also make friends with a user in the chat. To do this just click with your right mouse button on the user's name in the list of participants and then on "become friends".
Maybe the confirmation email ended in your spam filter – please double check. We can’t resend the confirmation email, since this has been sent automatically after the registration. Best would be, you send an email with your chosen nickname & e-mail address to firstname.lastname@example.org. Then we can release you manually.
To write an entry for the forum you have to be registered and logged in. Please click in COMMUNITY & MESSAGE BOARD on Message Board and choose a column. Now you have two possibilities: You can open a new theme or you write something to an already existing theme. To write a comment to a present theme, just click direct on that headline and then on Answers. When you click onto the button Quote, the text of the user will be shown also in your comment. Would you like to write about a new theme, click in the menu bar on New Topic. Now you write a headline and write your own text.
You can find the activity index on the left side of the screen ("What are my friends doing?"). If you click on it, it will show you what your friends are currently doing. If you don't want to appear in your friends' index, change the setting in your comp card. You'll find it in "My Privacy".
Click on the comp card from the other user. On the left side of the menu bar you’ll find the link Make Friends. The moment you click on this button, the other user receives the friendship invitation. When the other user confirms the invitation, you two are friends. Additionally you can become friends in the chat. Click with the right mouse button on the name of the user in the attendance list and click on Becoming Friends
Go to your comp card and click on "Edit profile picture" which you'll find in the navigation bar on the left.
Go to your comp card on the left side onto "My Privacy". Here you can change a lot of details in your account.
To change your data, go to your comp card. On the left side of the navigation you’ll find the link "My Account". Here you can change your email address. You will receive an email from us to your new address. Please follow the instructions in that email to activate the new email address.
Unfortunately it is not possible to change your user name. But you are free to delete your old account and register again with a new name. But all entries like designs, outfits and your guestbook will be gone.
On your comp card you’ll find on the left side in the navigation the link "My Mobile".
You receive on your mobile phone on a regularly basis information from the TOPModels about important news on the homepage, which will be saved automatically. If you like to read older news you can scroll with the arrows forward and backwards.
To design your mobile phone, go to your comp card. On the left side in the navigation you’ll find the link "My Mobile"! On the right side are the Mobile Settings, where you can chose between different colours/designs, pendants and backgrounds. You can also choose your ring tone or put it in the mute modus. Additionally you can decide to take no pendant – just click at the end on Save Pendant. Now your mobile phone has been saved and will be shown after your next log-in with the new details.
Unfortunately the sending of messages via mobile phone to your friends is not possible. The mobile phone is only meant for receiving important information about the TOPModels and news on the homepage.
Please go to your comp card to the left sift side, in navigation on Change Avatar. Here are tips what you have to do when you would like to change your avatar. Please read all points carefully and click afterwards on Change Avatar. After you confirmed your change, you will be automatically forwarded to your closet and can choose a new avatar.
Sure! The TOPModel-Chat is in the column COMMUNITY & MESSAGE BOARD. But please make sure, you are logged in.
You can choose the "whisper" option if you would like to chat to only one other user. This is also possible across other rooms. Either you enter the command (/m name message) directly in the text line or you click with the right mouse button on the user's name in the list of participants (on the right side of the page) and select "whisper". The command will then appear in the text line and you can write your message.
You can help on the site without Op rights, just as a normal registered user. Our highest target is that everything on the homepage is made in a friendly way. If you see somebody who is not acting properly you can just let him know. If this is not enough for you, you can always inform a moderator or write down the conversation or email of the intruder and send an email to email@example.com
You can change your colour by clicking on the little paint can symbol which you will find below the text field on the left (middle button). Choose a new colour and click on "select" – now your name should appear in the newly chosen colour. If that doesn't work, your browser could be at fault. Try using another one. If you don't know how to change your browser, ask your parents or write us an e-mail!
You have two possibilities to react – you can just ignore that user or you call a moderator. To ignore the user, you click with your right mouse button on the left attendance list on that user you like to ignore and choose the command Ignore. With immediate effect you won’t see the comments of this user. You can undo this command the same way. To ask a moderator for help, you can whisper to him or send him the “bad news”. Please click at the end on the speech bubble on the exclamation mark. So the moderators will be informed automatically and can see with immediate effect with which news the user teased you.
If another user is annoying or harassing you, send the message he/she wrote to the operator. To do this, just click on the exclamation mark at the end of the speech bubble. This will alert the operators and they will help you as soon as possible.

You can always only start one auction at a time. As soon as your auction is over, you can start the next one. In this way we try to reduce waiting times and give every user the chance to get a date as quickly as possible.
In "My Settings" you can regulate whether you are notified of your auction or a friend's auction five minutes beforehand so that you don't miss it. You will find this reminder in your messages. Another thing you can do is select which friends you would ALWAYS like to invite to your auctions. Just find their names in your list of friends and add them to your invitation list by clicking on the corresponding arrow. Then save, and you're finished! You can of course change your invitation list at any time.
Please go to My Calendar and then on "My Auctions". Here you need to click onto the selling dress and on the right side opens the info about the auction. As soon as you click on "Invite Friends", your friends of the invitation list (you’ll find this in My Settings) will be invited. You need to do this for every of your auctions.
Go to your closet, choose the dress you like to sell and click on it. Among other options, you will find Auction. The moment you click on this option, a window pops up and you decide the time frame. Is there no date available in your chosen time frame, you will get offered the next available date. If this date doesn’t suit you you can cancel the auction until one hour before it should start. But, you can also let do the whole work the auctioneer and look at the end onto the result – you don’t need to be there.
No, you can’t! After an auction ended successfully the buyer will receive the dress automatically in his closet and you receive at the same time the amount.
If you don't get a free date immediately, it's because we only plan three days in advance. Once all the dates within these three days have been allocated you need to try again the next day. Please have a little patience. In time you are sure to be able to get dates within a short time, but at the moment there's a great demand for dates in the Auction House.
No you can't. Once something has been bought, it has been bought. That's why it is vital that you do not tell anyone your password and keep a close eye on your account. We are very sorry that we can't help you any further, but each member is responsible for her own account. But you know what? Why don't you just auction off the article, and who knows. Maybe you'll make a profit!
No, you can let do the auctioneer the whole job and look afterwards in your news onto the result.
After you have bought a voucher you will find it in the left drawer of your make-up table in your wardrobe!
You can buy vouchers to the value of 50, 200 and 500 Fashion Credits in all the shops and then give them to your friends. And this is how you do it: Go to your favourite shop and click on the amount you want to give on the gift stand. You will then find the voucher in the left drawer of your make-up table in your wardrobe and you can give it to a friend straight away.
You can buy up to three vouchers at one time. If you want to buy a new voucher, you must first give the others to your friends.
You can give a voucher as a present to a friend. Just click in your closet onto the voucher drawer, click on Give this coupon as a gift!, pick the right voucher and search in the scroll down bar for the friend you like to give the voucher to. Click on Give this coupon as a gift!,and immediately your friend will get the voucher. Your friend also receives a message about the gift in his news.
The vouchers can be used in the individual stores. Just go to your favorite shop, search for a dress you like and your voucher will automatically be used. You don’t need to do anything. Attention! You cannot use vouchers you bought, you can only use them as a gift.

Photograph yourself in your favourite outfit and upload the photo to the Lookbook. You can find simple step-by-step instructions on the right side of the Lookbook.
We release all photos where users show their favorite dress. Photos which have just been uploaded from the internet or funny shots with friends and family will be denied. These photos can be uploaded in your photo album.
If you don't want other users to comment on your photo you can simply turn off this function. To do this just click on "My Private Sphere" in your comp card and you'll find "Who can write comments?"
You can rate every photo in the Lookbook by clicking on it and then clicking on the number of stars you would like to give. Please be fair with your ratings and don't hurt or annoy other users.
You can of course delete any of your Lookbook photos by clicking first on "My Photos" and then on the photo you would like to delete. At the top on the right you can see a little trash can with which you can permanently remove your picture from the Lookbook.
Important for our TOPModel lookbook is to show your favorite outfit. It is not important which hairdo you have or if you wear any make up, just make sure your dress is very well visible. We would recommend not to show your face or head at all. Please make always sure that the photos, you upload are good to show to all users – also the users, you don’t know.
You can delete every comment made about your photos immediately. First you click on the photo with the comment you like to delete. Below each comment you see a small waste bucket and by clicking on this bucket you delete the comment.
You have a working module - the pen. With the pen you can decorate your room. Behind each pen is a function. Here you can choose for example the basket or the feeding bowl, if you bought these things already.
You can dress your pet when you click on the wardrobe in the pet room. Choose with your pull-down-menu if you would like to get him an upper part, shoes, jewellery, etc. With the arrows you can look through your already bought items. When you click on “Save” your pet will wear the chosen outfit on the comp card. When you click on “Begin new” you can choose a new outfit.
If you don’t want to have your pet any more or you would like to choose a new one, you can simply return it. Just go to your comp card and click on the “My Pet" button in the navigation bar on the left. Then click on “Return Pet”. It will cost you 50 fashion credits to return your pet. Wait only one hour and then choose a new one.
You can shop in London for your pet. The shop is named “Little Darling”. When you are in the pet room, you can switch directly to the shop.
On the end of your comp card, you’ll find a column called “My Pet”, here you can create the profile of your pet.
If you're away for a few days, you can send your pet to the Pet Hotel for a maximum of 21 days and we'll look after it for you. The Pet Hotel can be found in the "Little Darling" shop in London.
The hearts indicate how your pet is feeling. Your pet needs feeding, wants to play and be stroked, and from time to time it will need medical care. Find out what does your pet good. The "speech bubbles" will show you what mood your pet is in. Loving, balanced and, above all, regular care will ensure that your pet feels good, and the hearts will then fill up. Your pet will only feel really happy if it doesn't have to spend too much time at the Pet Hotel, as it prefers to be with you. That also helps it's feeling of well-being.
Click on one of the symbols (feeding bowl, hearts, cross, ball) to take care of your pet. The feeding bowl contains everything to do with feeding. The two hearts refer to grooming. The cross contains medical care, and the ball means fun.
All the self-made things, e.g. cushions for your pet, can be found directly in the pet's room. Click on the pen and simply choose it as a place for your pet to sleep.
It is o.k. to be with 10 users in one room, after that it will be closed due to overcrowding.
On the right side of the figures is a field Visit friends. Here you can find the friends which allow visitors in their rooms.
When you are in your room, you can click on the left upper part on the navigation button. Now you have access to more categories which are related to your room. The room-designer consists of three colored areas: Violet stands for furnishing, turquoise for designing the floor and pink for the design of the walls. Do you have more questions? Here you can show your friends your favorite designs. Present them your own designs from the design table and pin them onto the wall. Choose a design on your design table and open the detail view. With a click onto the button "Hang in own gallery" a window opens and you can put your design into a frame. Are you in your room, you can also go direct into your gallery, click on a frame and you land on your design table to choose a picture. It ends direct in the frame you just chose.
In the shopping mall London, you’ll find in the store HOMEZONE everything you need to decorate your room. It doesn’t matter if furniture, wall papers, pictures, plants or great looking accessories. For sure, there is the perfect fit for you, too.
In the top left you’ll find the navigation bar. Are you in your room, click on it and you have access to more categories which are related to your room. These are the room designer, the shopping mall, the closet, the gallery, room and leaving room. When you click on the figurines on the right side beside the top-links, a list of visitors will be open. Beside each visitor is a little x. With a click on the x you can remove this visitor from your room. Right beside the figurines you’ll find a field Visit Friends. Here you can find friends which like to have visitors in their rooms.
You’ll find on the top right three small figurines. Click on them and a window pops up with a list of the current visitors of your room. Beside each visitor is a small x. With clicking on this x you can remove the user from your room.
Click on your comp card on the left side in navigation on My Privacy. Here you have the possibility to mark who is allowed to visit your room and use your chat. Please don’t forget to click Save Changes afterwards to make sure your changes have been safed.
