A vital part of a unicorn fairy: fabulous hair! Sketch the hair in soft waves, using a regular pencil.

Now you can hatch the face as well as the visible skin at the top part of the figurine’s body. To do so go over the areas with the pencil lead’s flat side, putting only a little pressure on it.
Step of 22
Draw colourful eyebrows, hair strands and eye shadow. It’s best to use pencils in the colours blue, green, purple and pale pink.
Step of 22
COLOUR GRADIENT How to do it: Colouring in the strands, keep using the colour for a little part of the next strand. In this case draw some lines in the “green” section with the purple pencil – and the other way around.

STEP 2: SHADOWS Hatch some areas on the figurine’s face with a little more pressure on the pencil:

Now gently erase some small areas at which the light should bounce off. This will give your design an even more realistic touch. For some bits that are to be all-out white (like at the horn), you can use some opaque white.

And, finally, the highlight: spread a little glue on some small areas and sprinkle some glitter on top. Once everything has dried, you can knock off the loose glitter bits. Done!
